Countdown To Halloween Day 5--Dinner With Drac!

Planning a Halloween party? Going to a Halloween party? Need some novel ideas for the Frightful Feast? Well, then, you've come to the right place! I have searched the Intarwebs long and hard on your behalf to bring you a veritable ghoul-ash (heh-heh!) of wretched recipes!

First up, Penn & Teller's Bleeding Heart Gelatin Dessert:
"The title says it all. It's the perfect coup de grace for your intimate dinner at home. As your guests sip their coffee, you unveil a glistening pink gelatin heart on a pedestal cake stand. Then you whip out a carving knife and stab it. Dark, gooey blood issues majestically from the wound. You cut dainty slices off the lobes of the heart and flip them onto dessert plates. You hold each portion under the oozing gash until it is nicely sauced with gore, add a dollop of whipped cream, and serve."

 Recipe here.

Perhaps you'd like to start off with some Bloody Brain Shooters?
"Mixing acidic lime juice and Irish cream causes the cream to curdle, creating brain-like strands in the shot."

Maybe some Awful Edible Roasted Fleshworms?
"Picture awful, fleshy worms with vicious mouths and teeth - worms that look like something you'd find chewing on a corpse, right before it hisses at you and lunges for your face. Picture giant, horror-show mutant maggots. Now picture the fact that someone captured these things and roasted them in the oven to serve at supper!"

Or "something gruesome and delicious?" Like, say, a hand-shaped meat loaf? With CHEESE? Hey, everything's better with cheese!

Or perhaps something truly gruesome and delicious?

Or something a tad less elaborate--cold cuts, for example--but equally gross?

So there ya go! Have at it!

I've totally done the meat hand. Took a lot more finagling and finessing than I was hoping but it was fun...

@Shawn: Yeah, the meat hand looks cool, but fussy.
